Fire Alarm and detection systems are designed to notify building occupants to evacuate in the event of a fire or other emergency. Depending on the system design, these systems may include fire sprinkler waterflow and tamper devices, audible/visible notification devices, smoke detectors, heat detectors, pull stations, or a variation of. If a Sprinkler System activates to extinguish a fire, a signal is sent to the Fire Alarm Panel. The Fire Alarm panel sends signals to a 24-hour monitored facility, who then notifies Emergency Services.
